Information We Collect
At SmartCarePlus, we only collect data that you choose to share with us. We do not collect any information passively, and we do not track users or analyze their behavior.
Some information is required to use our core services, while most other data is optional and is added only by you as needed.

The following details are mandatory for registration and essential communication:
- Full Name
- WhatsApp Number (used for login, authentication, and notification purposes)
These are the only two fields required to create and maintain an account with SmartCarePlus.
✳️ Optional Information (User-Provided)
You may choose to provide additional information to improve your experience or use specific features. These include:
- Profile Enhancements: Profile picture, date of birth, gender
- Contact & Address: Mobile number, email, physical address (district, state, pin code)
Providing this information is entirely optional, and you retain full control over what to add, when to update, or what to remove.
How We Collect Your Data
All data we collect is manually entered by the user through the following channels:

- 💬 WhatsApp Chat Interface
We do not use cookies, device fingerprinting, geolocation services, or any automated data scraping techniques. We do not request access to your device's storage, contacts, call logs, or SMS unless specifically required and clearly explained.
Note: Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older are allowed to register on SmartCarePlus. However, once registered, you may add and manage profiles for dependent patients, including minors under your care.
How We Use Your Data
We use your information only for the purpose of delivering healthcare services, improving communication between patients and providers, and managing your health-related activity.
Importantly:
- ❌ We do not use your data for training AI/ML models.
- ❌ We do not use your data to develop or improve our product.
- ❌ We do not analyze, aggregate, or share user data internally or externally for research, analytics, or marketing.
Your data may be used for:
- User Identification & Communication: To securely verify your identity, connect you with healthcare providers, and send WhatsApp notifications
- Appointment Scheduling: Book and manage appointments with doctors or healthcare facilities
- Patient Management: Add and manage dependent patients, including minors, family members, or others under your supervision
- Medicine Management: Enable autofill for frequently used medicines (optional feature)
- Prescription Handling: Generate, store, and reference prescriptions when needed
- Notifications: Receive reminders, alerts, and updates about appointments, orders, or health instructions
- Order History & Inventory Notes: View placed medicine orders, receive low stock alerts, and review previous records
- Basic Personalization: If full name and profile picture is shared, personalize your dashboard (e.g., reminders, greetings, etc.)
If in the future we choose to enable AI-based personalization or analytics, we will do so only after obtaining your explicit consent.
Data Hosting, Security & Protection
We are committed to protecting your data with industry-grade security protocols and privacy-first practices.
- 🔒 All data is securely hosted on a private VPS provided by Hostinger
- 🔄 Weekly backups are taken to prevent data loss
- 🛡️ Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel within Code Junction
- 🔐 All sensitive data transfers are encrypted using HTTPS and other secure protocols
We do not use third-party analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or Mixpanel.
⚠️ The only external service involved in handling any form of your data is Facebook/WhatsApp, which is used to deliver media and messages via WhatsApp’s official Business API. We do not control how WhatsApp handles those media files once sent.
Third-Party Sharing
SmartCarePlus operates as a closed platform. We do not share, sell, license, rent, or disclose your personal data to:
- Advertisers
- Data brokers
- Affiliates
- Research organizations
- Third-party service providers
Your data remains stored on our private infrastructure and is never transmitted to or integrated with any third-party system except for necessary delivery through WhatsApp.
We have no interest in monetizing your data and will never do so.
Your Rights & Controls
We believe in full transparency and give users complete control over their data. You have the following rights:

- ✏️ Right to Correct: Edit any incorrect or outdated information
- ❌ Right to Delete: Delete any data you’ve entered, including profile pictures, addresses, and health notes
- ❎ Order Restrictions: Placed medicine orders cannot be deleted but can be marked as “Cancelled” or “Rejected”
All actions related to data editing or removal can be performed directly through the mobile app, web app, or WhatsApp chatbot.
Marketing & Opt-Outs
Currently, we do not send any marketing or promotional messages. If and when we begin sending such messages:
- You will always receive a clear option to opt-out
- Your choice will be honored across all communication platforms
- We will never spam you or share your contact with advertisers
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We respect your digital privacy. That’s why SmartCarePlus:

- ❌ Does not track your browsing behavior
- ❌ Does not use heatmaps, session replays, or location tracking
There is no hidden tracking or profiling of your activity.
International Usage
As of now, SmartCarePlus is designed exclusively for users in India. If you are located outside India, you may not be able to register or access certain features.
We are planning to expand to international markets in the future. At that point, we will update this Privacy Policy to comply with global regulations like GDPR (for Europe), CCPA (for California), or HIPAA (for U.S. healthcare).
